Make the Tomato SauceSaute the diced onion and minced garlic. Add the tomatoes, chicken stock, oregano, fennel, and red pepper and season with salt and pepper, then let simmer for approx. 25 min. |

Add the gnocchi and beans and let simmer for 5 minutes. Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon and the cream. Simmer 2 minutes. Serve with fresh chopped basil. |

AlternativesAdd spinach or chicken to the dish. You can also try this recipe out with sun-dried tomatoes and/or roasted red peppers. Or top it off with mozzarella cheese and put it under the broiler for 2-3 minutes. |
