2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour Or type 00
2 Tbsp + 1/2 cup divided Olive Oil
1 pkg (2 1/4 tsp) Instant Yeast
1 cup (luke warm) Water
1 1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp chopped Fresh Parsely
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Flaky Sea Salt

Garlic Knots with Homemade Pizza Dough

Make the Pizza Dough

Combine the luke warm water with the yeast and sugar and let rest for 10 min. Using a mixer with a dough attachment or your hands, combine the sugar, 1 tsp salt, the flour and 2 Tbsp of olive oil and mix/knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Make the Garlic Mix

In a large shallow bowl, combine the 1/2 cup olive oil, garlic powder, fresh parsley, and Parmesan cheese.

Make the garlic bread knots

Preheat the oven. Line a baking sheet. Roll the pizza dough out but leave a nice thickness of about 1". Slice the dough lengthwise (yields about 8). Roll the dough with your hands and make a knot for each one. Roll each knot in the garlic mixture to coat well. Place on baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
