Make the "Buttermik"add the juice of one lemon to the milk and let sit 10 minutes. |

Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the lard in chunks and pulse with a mixer or mix with your hands by pinching it into the flour mixture. Add the milk and combine. |

Drop the biscuit dough into a circular pie pan. Push them down a bit. Brush with butter if desired. Bake at 500°F for 10-12 minutes. Top with more melted butter if desired. |
