1/2 cup Maple Syrup 100% real maple syrup!
Cracked Black Pepper
12 slices (eg thick Applewood smoked) Bacon

Preheat the oven to 375°F / 190°C. Line a baking tray if needed. I personally use a baking basket on top of a baking tray so the bacon gets crispy on both sides without having to flip it.

Generously over the bacon with the maple syrup on both sides (eg by dipping or using a pastry brush). Season with cracked black pepper.

If you need to flip - then bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake for another 10-15 minutes. If you do not need to flip, then let bake for 30-35 minutes until crispy.
