Homemade Rum BBQ Sauce

1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
-
1/2 cup Ketchup
-
1/2 cup Dark Rum
-
1 Tbsp from your preparation above Jerk Seasoning

1-2 dep. on size Lime
-
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

3 Garlic Cloves

2 racks Baby Back Pork Ribs

All from mix above but 1 Tbsp Jerk Seasoning

2 cups Dark Rum

Make the Homemade Jerk Seasoning.Mix all the ingredients together. |

Season the Ribs and Marinate the RibsPour 1 cup of rum each into 2 ziplock backs. Rub the Jeark seasoning all over the ribs. Put the ribs in the bags and let marinate for at least 1 or or overnight. |

Prepare the Homermade Rum Barbeque SauceCombine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and stir well. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool. |

Oven Bake the RibsIn foil, bake the ribs for 2.5 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. |

Grill the RibsRemove the ribs from the foil, place on the grill and baste with the BBQ sauce. Grill for 15 min. while constantly basting them. |
