Homemade Jerk Seasoning
2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
2 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tsp Kosher Salt
2 tsp Black Pepper
3 tsp Dried Thyme
3 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Dried Parsely
2 Tbsp (or hot for more heat)) Sweet Paprika
1-2 Tbsp dep. on preferred heat level Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
1 Tbsp Cumin
Homemade Rum BBQ Sauce
1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/2 cup Dark Rum
1 Tbsp from your preparation above Jerk Seasoning
1-2 dep. on size Lime
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 Garlic Cloves
Ribs
2 racks Baby Back Pork Ribs
All from mix above but 1 Tbsp Jerk Seasoning
2 cups Dark Rum

Jerk Seasoned Ribs with the Tastiest Homemade Rum BBQ Sauce

These juicy, sweet, sticky, and tangy jerk-seasoned ribs with rum barbeque sauce are in one word: OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD! This rum bbq sauce pairs well with chicken.

Make the Homemade Jerk Seasoning.

Mix all the ingredients together.

Season the Ribs and Marinate the Ribs

Pour 1 cup of rum each into 2 ziplock backs. Rub the Jeark seasoning all over the ribs. Put the ribs in the bags and let marinate for at least 1 or or overnight.

Prepare the Homermade Rum Barbeque Sauce

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and stir well. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Oven Bake the Ribs

In foil, bake the ribs for 2.5 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grill the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the foil, place on the grill and baste with the BBQ sauce. Grill for 15 min. while constantly basting them.
