Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
4 (or pre-ground chicken) Chicken Breasts
2 Tbsp (or sesame oil) Peanut Oil
1 Onion
3, divided Garlic Cloves
1 tsp grated Fresh Ginger
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce
1/4 cup (or more for added heat Gochujang
1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup Peanut Butter
garnish Unsalted Peanuts
garnish Spring Onions
1 Head (or any leafy lettuce) Bibb Lettuce

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

These ground chicken lettuce wraps are so moist, crunchy, and are simply a flavor bomb! For more heat, add extra Gochujang sauce!

If grinding your own chicken, grind in a grinder with 2 crushed garlic cloves, onion, and fresh ginger. Saute in oil until browned.

If using preground chicken, saute diced onion, minced garlic, and fresh ginger in oil, then add the ground chicken.

Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and 1 minced garlic clove. Add to the chicken. Stir and simmer for approx 3 min.
Service in lettuce wraps with crushed peanuts and diced green onions.

Alternative with rice

Last time I made this, I added a 1/2 cup of precooked rice I had left over, and was a hit! Both with and without the lettuce wraps.
