Adjust Servings:
1-1/2 lbs (.5-.7 kg) Beef Sirloin Tips
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Butter
1 (optional) Garlic Clove
1/4 tsp Salt
6-8 Peaches
1/2 Red Onion
1 Lime
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Water
2 (or dried) Fresh Red Bird's Eye Chili Pepper
bunch Fresh Thai Basil

Juicy Beef Sirloin Tip Steaks with Thai Basil Peach Salsa

This spicy Thai-style peach salsa pairs well with both steak and chicken.

Make the Peach Salsa

Peel and remove the core from the peaches. Dice and add to a sauce pan. Add the water, brown sugar, juice of 1 lime, diced onion, and diced bird's eye chili pepper. Simmer until thickened. Top with fresh Thai Basil.

Sauté the Beef Sirloin Tips

Heat the oil in a large sauté pan. Season the Sirloin beef tips with salt on both sides. Sear the beef 1-2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Let rest for 5 min. (you can cover them with foil). A variation - throw in a whole garlic clove and a sprig of rosemary to the pan for extra flavor (if desired you can also toss in 2 Tbsp of butter for extra richness).
