Steps

1
Done

Prepare the Potatoes

I use a professional French fry cutter for this because it is so easy to create same-sized fries. This is the one I personally use: Commercial Restaurant French Fry Cutter with Suction Feet.
Otherwise, wash and cut the potatoes in equal sizes.

Put the freshly cut French fries into a large bowl with cold water and let soak for a good 30 minutes.

Done

Preheat the oven to 450°F /232°C. Drain the French Fries and try to pat dry with a kitchen towel as best as possible. Season with the Olive oil, salt, pepper, and Paprika and toss well. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the French fries to the baking sheet making sure not to overlap - that affects the crispiness. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Then check and flip them, depending on your oven and baking sheet quality. Bake for another 10 - 15 minutes. Since ovens and baking sheets are so varied, it is hard to say exactly how much time you will need, so check every few minutes.
