Moroccan Gnocchi with Harrissa, Ground Beef and Sweet Potato

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 pkg Gnocchi
.5 lbs (226g) Ground Beef
2 Onions
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Sweet Potatoes
3 Tomatoes
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 cup Beef stock
1 Tbsp Harissa
1/4 cup, optional Feta Cheese
1 bunch, optional Fresh Cilantro or fresh parsely
1 bunch, optional Spring Onions
1/4 cup Cream

Moroccan Gnocchi with Harrissa, Ground Beef and Sweet Potato

I have to say for the record that this is my favorite invention thus far when it comes to recipes - it's savory, creamy, beefy, spicy...

Make the Gnocchi

Make the gnocchi acc. to package directions (My own gnocchi recipe is still to come ...).

Peel and dice the sweet potatoes and onions. Peel and mince the garlic. In a large pan, add the oil and saute the onions, garlic and sweet potatoes for a good 8-10 minutes.

Dice the tomatoes (remove the seeds). Add to the pan. Add the tomato paste.

Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Add the Harissa and stir well. Chop the parsley and/or cilatnro and add. Let simmer for a good 10 minutes.

Add the cooked gnocchi to the pan and the cream. Let simmer 5 minutes. Serve with extra parsely and/or cilantro if desired.
